W. VIL - Flexible Duration - Pied-à-Terre Share

Furnished WONDERFUL, cozy, 1 bedroom, for ONE person to share with female— NYU Alumni, Steinhardt - Media, Culture, Communications - focus in film. I will consider short, various durations, academic year, or long terms, it will depend on the... situation and season.

To begin: Double entrance locked doors. Safe well maintained building with cameras and intercom.

I am the leaseholder and I divide my time between NYC and upstate (Hudson Valley Cottage) or traveling, ongoing. We are roommates but you would have the place on your own quit a bit, which is nice. As a result someone who is laidback, tidy and clean, responsible, TRUSTWORTHY, and reliable is best. Low key is important not a party vibe with foot traffic. It is clean and very quiet as I am in the back of the building. It is a walk up, 5 flights and the toilet is old school down the hall with a private lock for us only. I am sure this may be a concern or a deal breaker so good to get out in the open and save each other time. I believe in transparency and respect. I am used to it as I lived in Europe (Paris, France) many years and had a couple of old apartments with a similar layout.

This is a unique situation as I am part-time here so I REALLY value trust and respect. Somebody calm, no parties, and focused will suit best. I like to participate in the arts, culture, and media industries when around. For myself, I am quiet and home is for restoration and reading and writing, light cooking. I do care about downtime, self care and I will be respectful/considerate to you, the space, and your goals as I am focused on my goals and endeavors as well so I get it.

I am organized and have a small amount of stuff. You would have the bedroom with the door. The "living room," (with my daybed ) is where I will sleep when around. The apartment has the potential for some small tweaks for comfort and storage outside of your room but someone who is organized and/or a minimalist would not feel cramped. We can figure it out together. Small adjustments need be for comfort ie a desk, which could go in the kitchen by the window for example, small dresser, etc. I’m open to discuss.

As mentioned I like to read, write, regroup but when I am upstate I like to help my mother in the garden and do yoga, swim, and go for walks in the nature. We can get to know each other more if interested in the space and terms PLEASE tell me a little about yourself and needs and we can go from there. I also love animals and wildlife (I am a certified wildlife rehabber) and I am very into health and wellness and meditation. Balance.

If anything here speaks to you and you feel it may be a fit please send me a little intro via email and we can go from there. Set up a video chat first and then if that goes well we can do a visit. I look forward to hearing from you. Best, Andrea
