I'm Shayidan, a recent NYU grad who's just started working in finance here in NYC! I'm currently living in this awesome apartment with my friend, but she'll be moving out in Sep. So, I'm looking for a friendly roommate to share the... bedroom with!

I'm absolutely in love with this area and neighborhood! We're right in Hunter Point Park, next to the Eastern River, which means you get the most PERFECT Manhattan view! Transportation is super convenient too—there's a ferry literally downstairs, and a subway station about 10 minutes away that's just two stops from Midtown Manhattan.

This is a 1-bedroom apartment. You’ll be living in the bedroom (as shown in the pictures), and I’ll be living in the living room area, which will be separated by a divider from the dining and kitchen space. Even with the divider, you’ll see that the dining area is still very spacious. Since your bedroom has a door and I’ll be at work most of the time, you’ll have plenty of privacy.

The rent is $4,140/month, and the building requires tenants to meet an income requirement of 45x the rent. If you have a guarantor, the requirement is 75x the rent. For example, if you’re a student, your guarantor should earn around $155K/year.

My current roommate is moving out on September 15th, and the new one-year lease starts on October 1st. You’re welcome to move in anytime after September 15th, and we can renew the lease for another full year.
