East Village Room

Hi!

I'm looking for a subletter to occupy the smaller bedroom (in photos attached) for the summer or longer. I'm looking for a female who's quiet and clean. If you want to sublet for the summer, move-in date is ideally June 1st and move-out date is...
at least week before the start of NYU's fall term. If you are a student and would like to rent the room for next year starting in the summer, we can negotiate the end date. All-in-all, the start/end dates are flexible, so call me and we can chat. A bit about me: I'm 21, queer, from NYC, and studying chemistry at NYU going into my senior year. I love playing cards, climbing (exercising in general), and riding my bike around the city.

Watch the video for a tour of the main space (ignore the part for the larger bedroom, which is NOT the bedroom for rent). Photos of the smaller bedroom are attached, which IS for rent. The small bedroom is available beginning June (start date is flexible). Looking for someone to sublet through the summer AND/OR for a year.

This apartment is on the fifth floor of a pre-war walk up. The counter tops and walls were renovated last year; the fire alarm was also just replaced and now contains a carbon monoxide detector.

The apartment has two bedrooms, one is larger, one is smaller. Both bedrooms contain a full closet with a storage space above that is able to fit two large suitcases and maybe a box. The smaller room comes with a bed, desk, and chair. The apartment is very quiet, as it does not face the street. AC's are installed in both bedrooms and, since the apartment is small, cools the kitchen quickly. The apartment contains radiators in all three rooms. The building receives little foot traffic, especially on the fifth floor. The apartment comes equipped with a full kitchen, including pots/pans, rice cooker, blender, kettle, and other standard kitchen tools.

The building is located in the heart of the East Village just a 10 minute walk from Washington Square Park, a 5 minute walk to Astor Place, and a 12 minute walk to Union Square.

If you have any questions or want to talk further, please reach out via texting (my number is on this webpage).

Best,
Olivia!
