The location is very convenient and lively because it is close to a major university area, Fordham University, so there are always students around and plenty of nice places to hang out nearby. The area feels chill, active, and student-friendly - not isolated or unsafe. Cheap groceries, Chipotle, restaurants, cafes, and other food spots are all within a very short walk.

For NYU students, the commute is very manageable - around 25 minutes to Washington Square Park. It’s about a 3-minute walk to Fordham Metro-North, around 20 minutes on Metro-North to Grand Central, and then about 5 minutes by subway toward the Washington Square Park area.
