1 bedroom shared bathroom in 4x2 apartment, Crown Heights, Brooklyn - Not the entire apartment
This is for ONE room in a 4x2 apartment. There will be 3 of us renewing the lease so you would fill the 4th slot. You would pay around $1324/mo and share a bathroom with 2 girls.
⭐️ Dates: Preferred move in date August 8th 2026, earliest August 1st... (due to current sublease). Lease ends July 31, 2027.
⭐️ About us: I'm Becca, a recent MSDS NYU graduate, now working at a tech startup, originally from Texas! My other roommates are Lava, a NYU Tandon garaduate student originally from LA, and Chloe, a recent grad working in product originally from NOVA. We are all friendly, considerate, and like to have fun together! We are a bit more homebody, and we frequently spend time together in the living room in the evenings and on WFH days. Lava and Chloe love to cook & bake together. We also have one cat, Yuzu, who is very friendly with other people.
⭐️ About the room: You would have the first bedroom upon entering the unit and would share a bathroom with me and Lava. There's a chance my roommate that's moving out might sell you some of her furniture, but it's not guaranteed/up to you guys to discuss!
⭐️ About the building/location: * We are less than 2 blocks away from the 2/3/4/5/S. * We love the location, because there is a dedicated median/pathway for pedestrians & bikes that is always lit. * Our unit is on the first floor and facing a major street (Eastern Pkwy), so there is some noise, but it also means the immediate area feels really safe! * Laundry in-building (basement, accessible by elevator), managed through an app. * There is built in radiators for heating but no central AC, so we all use AC units. * We're a 10 minute walk from Brooklyn Library & Brooklyn Museum, and a 15-20 minute walk from Prospect Park. * This will be our third year living in this unit. The living room, kitchen, and bathroom are already furnished.
⭐️ Who we're looking for: * Preference for someone who is comfortable sharing a bathroom with female-identifying roommates! * Comfortable with a cat in shared spaces + her meowing occasionally! * Comfortable with us spending time in shared spaces, including during the day/work hours (you are always welcome to join)!! * Interested in ~spending time with us~ (we like to watch TV + go to the local movie theater together!!) * Comfortable with roommates who use the kitchen often & cook together! * Comfortable with occasional overnight guests - usually they stay in our room & with notice! You are also welcome to have your own.
⭐️ Financials: The estimated rent for your room would be $1324/mo. you would be expected to pay security deposit + first month's rent. Our utilities come out to $80/mo on average, but it depends on usage/seasonality. Water is covered by the building, we pay for wifi/gas/electricity (all managed by me!).
