Looking for 1 Female Roommate - 2 bedroom East Village apartment near Union Square

I am looking for someone to sublet the other bedroom in my East Village apartment from August 2025 - June 2026. The apartment is two blocks from Union Square, Trader Joes, Duane Reed, & Target. There is no laundry in-unit, but right downstairs is... a wash-dry-fold service with same-day pickup and very friendly staff! The unit is on the 5th floor of a walkup building. I have two cats that live here as well. The apartment is tiny, but cozy and in a great central location!

To tell you about myself, my name is Sarah and I am 25 years old. I work at an advertising agency, and I have a flexible hybrid schedule where I go into the office 3 days per week. I have two cats (who are incredibly sweet and cuddly), so a cat lover is definitely preferred! I also have two close friends that live in the unit directly below mine, and the majority of residents in this building are young adults or students. I love to cook and would love to live with someone who also enjoys making delicious healthy meals.

See below for a breakdown of costs associated with the unit:

Rent: $1,650 per month starting August 1, 2025. Rent is due no later than the first day of each month.

Security Deposit: $1,724 one time payment due August 1, 2025. This payment will be returned on June 1, 2026 if the property is left in good condition, with no damage beyond normal wear and tear, and all terms of the lease agreement have been fulfilled.

Con Edision (Gas/Electric): $30-$80 each month depending on the season (higher costs during warmer months when AC is used frequently). Bill is due the first week of each month.

Spectrum WiFi: ~$30 each month. Bill is due the last week of each month.
